The Greenwood County Fair 2016 is coming! Tuesday, September 27, 2016 through Saturday, October 01, 2016 will be five fabulous fun filled days to remember in the Lakelands. The County Fair! Strolling the midway with friends and family under the excitement of a myriad of sights and sounds. Enjoying cotton candy, corn dogs, funnel cake and your favorite soft drink among a whole host of fair favorites. Winning that special prize for your sweetheart and holding hands while soaring above the crowd on the Ferris Wheel. Children shrieking with glee while riding every single ride. Daring to get on the Ring of Fire or the Kite Flyer or any one (or all) of a dozen thrilling rides. Listening to great music by the main stage. Gasping at the exhilarating acrobatic stunts of the Star Dust Circus performers. Standing in awe of the powerful "Big Bears" as they show off their sheer size, beauty and just how lovable they are. Welde’s Bear Show
The Welde’s Training Methods are based on developing the natural and unique talents of each individual bear through patience, rewards, and understanding.
The family tradition continues through this grandson, third generation John Welde III. Through the shows, the Weldes hope to educate as well as entertain the public about bears.
Welde’s Bear Show is a family entertainment, education, and conservation awareness all rolled into one!
The Greenwood County Fair will feature performances of the Star Dust Circus and Thrill Show throughout the week. The Star Dust Circus is a show for the entire family. Traveling over 30,000 miles a year performing for audiences of all ages, the Star Dust Circus and Thrill Show features Motorcycle Daredevils in the Globe of Death, The Giant Spacewheel of Destiny, Juggling, Aerialists, Acrobats and Comedy Routines. The show is truly full of thrills and chills.
